This Franchise Disclaimer & Brand Use Policy governs the use of the Mirror, Signal, Success name, branding, systems, and reputation by instructors, franchisees, and third parties.

1. No Agency or Employment Relationship

Use of the Mirror, Signal, Success brand does not create:

  • An employment relationship
  • An agency relationship
  • A partnership
  • A joint venture

Instructors and franchisees operating under the brand do so as independent businesses, unless expressly stated otherwise in a separate written agreement.

2. Franchise Status

Until a formal franchise agreement is entered into:

  • No party is authorised to represent themselves as a franchisee
  • No rights are granted to use the Mirror, Signal, Success brand beyond written permission
  • No commercial relationship is implied by website use or lesson delivery

All franchise arrangements are governed only by written franchise agreements.

3. Brand Representation

Instructors and franchisees must:

  • Represent the brand accurately and professionally

No instructor or franchisee may claim:

  • Guaranteed test passes
  • DVSA endorsement
  • Authority beyond their agreed role

4. Use of Name, Logo & Materials

The Mirror, Signal, Success name, logo, website content, learning materials, and branding are protected intellectual property.

Unauthorised use, including:

  • Copying materials
  • Creating derivative branding
  • Using the name outside approved activities
    is strictly prohibited.

Permission to use branding may be withdrawn at any time.

5. Advertising & Marketing

All advertising and marketing conducted under the brand must:

  • Comply with UK advertising standards
  • Be accurate and not misleading
  • Avoid guarantees or exaggerated claims
  • Follow brand guidelines where issued

Independent advertising outside agreed guidelines is prohibited.

6. Compliance & Conduct

Instructors and franchisees must:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Hold appropriate licences, insurance, and approvals
  • Follow safeguarding, data protection, and safety policies
  • Maintain professional conduct at all times

Failure to comply may result in immediate withdrawal of brand permission.

7. Liability & Responsibility

Instructors and franchisees are responsible for:

  • Their own business operations
  • Their own tax and regulatory compliance
  • Their own insurance
  • Their own legal obligations

Mirror, Signal, Success is not liable for the actions, omissions, or business conduct of independent instructors or franchisees.

8. Termination of Brand Use

We reserve the right to:

  • Withdraw brand use permission at any time
  • Require immediate cessation of branding
  • Demand removal of logos, signage, and marketing materials

Termination may occur without notice in cases of serious breach.

9. Policy Updates

This policy is reviewed annually and may be updated where required.

Updates take effect upon publication on this website.

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
